How this gets made
Short version: we buy it, we use it, we tell you what happened.
Testing
We buy the products we review at retail unless we say otherwise. When a company sends something free, the post says so in the first paragraph. Long-term reviews run a minimum of eight weeks, and the gear ones usually run six months because most things fail in month four, not week one.
Health content
Posts touching on health are either written by or read by Marta Quinn, CVT, before publication. That is a floor, not a substitute for your own vet. We do not publish:
- Claims that any product treats, cures, or prevents a disease.
- Dosing instructions for anything prescription.
- Invented or second-hand statistics. If we cannot point at where a number came from, we cut the number.
- Content encouraging you to skip a vet visit or self-diagnose from a symptom list.

Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it and add a dated note at the top of the post explaining what changed. We do not silently edit. Send corrections to hello@zoomiesagain.com.
AI
Our posts are written by the person in the byline. We use spellcheck and we occasionally use a model to tidy a transcript of an interview into quotes, which we then check against the recording. We do not publish generated articles, and we do not publish generated photos of dogs we claim are ours.
